Rates
My therapy fee is $85 for a 50-minute individual session and $99 for a 50-minute couples session. I offer weekly or every other week (biweekly) sessions.
I have a sliding scale that goes from $0 to my full rate because capitalism isn't always fair. My lower rate spots fill up fast, but you can always contact me to see if something has opened up or to get on my waitlist.
I am not able to take insurance at this time. While you are always welcome to try to use your out-of-network benefits to get reimbursed for our sessions (many insurance companies accept a monthly superbill for reimbursement), I can't guarantee they will cover our work together.
In the state of Colorado, therapists not paneled with Medicaid are not allowed to accept payment from people with Medicaid benefits, regardless of whether or not they want to/can pay. For that reason, I have pro bono (no charge) spots available for folx on Medicaid. Contact me to see if I've got something open or to get on my waitlist.
Under the No Surprises Billing Act that went into effect on January 1, 2022, all clients have the right to a “Good Faith Estimate”
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. An example Good Faith Estimate when working with me would be:
Meeting every other week for 12 months = 26 weeks
Meeting every week for 12 months = 52 weeks
26 x $85 = $2,210
52 x $85 = $4,420
Total estimated cost for 12 months = $2,210 - $4,420
Location
I currently provide services via Telehealth (M-F) and in person (M, W, Th). For Telehealth, I use a HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform. For in-person appointments, my office is located at 9351 Grant St. Ste. 480 Thornton, CO 80229.
